Yamicia and I met while at MIT and quickly bonded over late night sessions completing Chemical Engineering problem sets and teaching Saturday engineering classes to local Boston high school students. What started off as a very productive working relationship soon became one filled with distractions and late night laugh sessions. Still, Yamicia always managed to complete perfectly scripted, 20-page, color coded assignments on completely crisp paper. During these sessions, Yoni would always selflessly stay with us until 3 am, often helping with our work, despite having already graduated. This is how I first knew it was true love.

Yamicia was the first person to teach me to do makeup and properly blow out my hair. She's also talked me through countless life crises- real and imagined- celebrated with me, cried with me, and partied with me. I am so thankful for her friendship and so excited to see Yoni and Yamicia become one!

Yamicia and I first met our freshman year at high school. I would like to say I remember the details of our meeting, but that was in the year 1999 and my memory just isn’t as good as it once was. Needless to say, Yamicia and I became inseparable throughout our high school years. We carpooled together, had almost all the same classes with each other, and I practically lived at her house for most of my Sophomore through Senior Years. Her family became my family and my family became hers. Since graduation, we have been separated by thousands of miles of physical distance but have remained best friends. I am beyond excited to be taking part in her special day and can not wait to see her face light up on her wedding day.

I am, and have been usually referred to as 'Yoni's little sister'. About 4 years ago I moved to Boston to work with Yamicia as a part of her research team.  Over these last four years I have had the chance to get to know Yamicia and we have gone from working together, to friends, and now soon to be sisters.  I love you both and am very excited for you!

The very first time I met Yamicia and Yoni was New Years Day 2013 in a suite at the Loew's hotel. The three words that encapsulate this couple was: First class, Fabulous, & Friendly. That one night of celebration spoiled David and I because first class fun was clearly defined and the idea of what it means to have a great time was elevated. Now any party we attend is compared to the Yoni and Yamicia New Year's extravaganza. I'm mentally trying to prepare for the celebration for this beautiful union! This wedding will again elevate my fun and fabulous meter several thousands notches!

I met Yamicia back in our days at MIT. I was amazed with her ability to be incredibly brilliant, bold, and thoughtful - just the kind of person I wanted to learn from and grow with. It's been a blast to share life with her, and I am honored to witness and support her beautiful union with Yoni.
