We met at MIT...
Yonatan was a sophomore and Yamicia was a freshman, eager to start her first semester at MIT. Yonatan distinctly remembers seeing Yamicia coming down the New House dormitory stairwell with her girlfriends, and soon afterwards a lifelong friendship blossomed. Since then they have grown together, through college, careers, graduate school, successes and failures, loving and supporting one another. After a long engagement, Yonatan and Yamicia prepare to finish their education and begin their lives together in marriage.

While Yamicia was in graduate school...
Yonatan was living and working in east Texas, traveling back and forth to Boston. Just before Christmas during a snowy Boston winter, Yonatan came to visit Yamicia and surprised her with a special evening to celebrate completion of her final graduate school course. To conclude a lovely evening, Yonatan took Yamicia to one of her favorite restaurants, Top Of The Hub, to listen to jazz while overlooking the city skyline. Little did she know that Yonatan had arranged for the band to play one of her favorite songs. On bended knee, he asked her to be his bride. With tears in her eyes and a smile on her face, she embraced Yonatan and they celebrated with a Champagne toast. She was so surprised that she forgot to verbally say 'yes', but her reaction said it all.
